Salary: DOE/DOQ + Benefits. Provide customer service, assistance to office personnel, Town Manager, and Treasurer. Must have knowledge of clerical methods in keeping physical accounts and records, modern office practices and procedures, business arithmetic, English, and use of office equipment. Must have the ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment, have good oral and written communication skills, and be proficient in current versions of Microsoft Office. The Position will be responsible for bank reconciliation, monitoring accounts, making monthly journal entries, keeping spreadsheets, processing payments, reconciling incoming and outgoing loans, and other accounting functions.
Graduation from high school and a college degree in accounting or experience of equivalent is required.
